Hello, I'm Rajsree 👋🏼

From as young as I could remember, I loved drawing and always knew that being creative was an integral part of my identity. In my undergraduate degree, I naturally turned to illustration and UI/UX design as a second interest.

Illustration and UI/UX design became mediums where I could work on projects that allowed me to connect empathetically through my diasporic experiences of living in India, the United States and in multiple cities in Canada. I participated in multiple UX hackathons and completed the Google Career Certificate for UX Design to go beyond my comfort zone to learn more about the field.

This led to currently pursue a Master of Information degree at the University of Toronto with a concentration in User Experience and Design. With that, I’m keeping my passion for illustration alive by planning to publish my first children’s book, Paper Pals, as I continue to pursue my masters degree.

Apart from my career goals, I love exploring the city, traveling, taking photos with my polaroid, go cafe hopping with my friends, and dancing!

Some fun facts!

🌷I grew up in a Dutch town in the US; hence my favourite flowers have always been tulips.

🏡 I lived with a Chinese homestay during my undergraduate degree; I cherish the memories I made, such as celebrating Chinese New Year each year with my host family.

📚 I love language learning! I did my first French immersion program in Montreal. One of my favourite parts was buying comic books in French.
